I started CollegeNests.com as a way to share what I wish I had known when moving into my dorm. Now, after going through both dorm and apartment living, I’ve figured out what actually works — and what’s a waste of money.

This site is built to help students (and parents shopping for students) make smart decisions. From my own experience and input from others on campus, I’ve curated lists of must-haves, time-savers, and stress-reducers.

Whether it’s tech, desks, mattress toppers, or the little things like pencils and headphones — I’ve used and tested every item I share here. These are the products that helped me stay productive, comfortable, and focused in college.
